https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=752158 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=752158#c0 Summary: zenmap missing package dependencies Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dfreeman@ieee.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2 I tried zenmap on a desktop installation of openSUSE 12.1 x86-64, and it worked. However, I then tried it on a minimal server install of the x86 version, and it failed with the following error: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/zenmap", line 94, in <module> import zenmapGUI.App File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/zenmapGUI/App.py", line 116, in <module> import gtk ImportError: No module named gtk I then installed python-gtk, along with its dependencies. This was sufficient to solve the problem, so I suggest that either python-gtk or one of its dependencies should be added to the list of dependencies for zenmap. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install minimal server configuration. 2. Install nmap and zenmap. 3. Run zenmap. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
