https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=468976 Summary: osc branch should give you full command line if you use -A Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: federico@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: Development "osc branch" nicely tells you the "osc co" command you can use to checkout the newly-branched package. However, if you use osc with the -A option to use another API server, it doesn't give you the correct command line. Example: $ osc -A api.suse.de branch SUSE:SLE-11:GA gtk2 A working copy of the branched package can be checked out with: osc co home:federico-mena:branches:SUSE:SLE-11:GA/gtk2 # great! Let's cut&paste that... $ osc co home:federico-mena:branches:SUSE:SLE-11:GA/gtk2 Server returned an error: HTTP Error 404: Not Found # oops, I guess I need to specify -A myself... $ osc -A api.suse.de co home:federico-mena:branches:SUSE:SLE-11:GA/gtk2 A home:federico-mena:branches:SUSE:SLE-11:GA A home:federico-mena:branches:SUSE:SLE-11:GA/gtk2 .. Summary: if you do "osc -A foo.com branch repo package", then the suggested command line should be "osc -A foo.com co destrepo/package". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
