Gnome with x does not work. All that shows up after login is a grey screen (the same grey as the background of the login screen) and a mouse that jumps around. I own a HP compaq 6710b. My laptop has an intel 965 gm graphics card. Gnome on Wayland works, and plain IceWM works (I presume in x). Opensuse 13.2 gnome worked just fine with x.
