--- Comment #18 from Johannes Meixner 2012-03-30 12:25:48 UTC ---
Yes, since comment #6 we are looking at the same results
(at least as far as I understand it).
To find out whether or not it is Ghostscript, I have now
in the OBS "Printing" project a copy of xen from Virtualization
with only this change:
$ osc rdiff Virtualization xen Printing xen
Index: xen.spec
===================================================================
--- xen.spec (revision 178)
+++ xen.spec (revision 6)

+#!BuildIgnore: ghostscript-library
+BuildRequires: ghostscript-mini
BuildRequires: LibVNCServer-devel
BuildRequires: SDL-devel
BuildRequires: automake
In the Printing project I have plain upstream Ghostscript 9.05
see bnc#735824.
Via the above change in xen.spec I enforce the build system magic
to install the right Ghostscript 9.05 packages from the
Printing project (in particular I enforce the build system magic
not to install a mix-up of old ghostscript-library together
with new Ghostscript 9.05 packages as it did otherwise).
In the Printing project with plain upstream Ghostscript 9.05
it works:
$ osc results -v Printing xen
...
openSUSE_12.1 i586 finished: succeeded
openSUSE_12.1 x86_64 finished: succeeded
openSUSE_Factory i586 finished: succeeded
openSUSE_Factory x86_64 finished: succeeded
...
$ osc remotebuildlog Printing xen openSUSE_Factory x86_64 | grep ps2pdf
ps2pdf ps/user.ps pdf/user.pdf.new
ps2pdf ps/interface.ps pdf/interface.pdf.new
ps2pdf xenapi.ps xenapi.pdf
$ osc remotebuildlog Printing xen openSUSE_Factory x86_64 | grep -i ghostscript
installing ghostscript-x11-9.05-9.1
installing ghostscript-fonts-std-9.05-1.1
installing ghostscript-mini-9.05-10.1
The build system magic still installs broken stuff
because ghostscript-mini conflicts with ghostscript-x11
but in this case it should not hurt because versions match.
I assume the issue will become resolved when plain upstream
Ghostscript 9.05 is used in Factory.
But I need a bit more time for some more tests
until I can submit plain upstream Ghostscript to Factory.
Olaf,
I don't know if it is possible to use for now as a test
Ghostscript from the Printing project to build xen in Virtualization?
If yes, I would appreciate it very much because
I need testers who use plain upstream Ghostscript 9.05
