This post: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.acpi.devel/29174 seem to show a similar problem with battery? Rui was deeper involved here and hopefully can help.
Still you should first try out .27-rc3 kernel and best do the same IRQ and ACPI event test and have a look at /proc/acpi/interrupts again as you did with 10.3 and 11.0.
I don't think the post above is related to my problem. That post refers to frequency scaling not working, and about the only feature that is working for me with the stock 11.0 kernel is the CPU frequency adjusting according to load. That said, I am testing with kernel 2.6.27-rc3-HEAD_20080819185209-default This kernel fixes a multitude of my issues, including this one. The test results are as follows: - /proc/acpi/event listed events as expected. Only noticeable difference was that the power button generated only one event, compared to two under 10.3. - The IRQ 9 count at the end of my test was a much more reasonable 10. I will work on updating all of my tickets with the latest test information. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
