http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609408 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=609408#c0 Summary: One tg3 driven NIC does not work on Snook AMD devel platform Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: trenn@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development Blocker: --- There are two network cards in this machine, both should be driven by the tg3 driver. One works, the other one does not (does not even show up with ifconfig -a). The machine name is *paice* and you can register for it using (http://)orthos. Be aware that there is another pending bug for this machine: #609384 related to the SAS controller. The machine is under my desk and you can access the serial console via: ssh root@queen screen -h 5000 /dev/ttyS0 57600 Please be careful with queen, it's my workstation. You can do with paice whatever you want... I used a factory (2.6.34) installation as this certainly should get tracked down on mainline code base and then eventually get backported... -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
