Ok, I got it fixed here.
Fixing the problem "adding install source" I got fixed after following a hint
from kontakt-de@novell.com:
rczmd stop
mv /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db /var/lib/zmd/zmd.db.old
mv /etc/zmd/secret /etc/zmd/secret.old
mv /etc/zmd/deviceid /etc/zmd/deviceid.old
rczmd start
After this adding the install source worked fine! :)
The second problem with registering the product was more complicated:
During a test with the following command (similar cmd was found in y2log):
suse_register -d 3 -a email=lauffer@ph-freiburg.de -a regcode-sles=XXXXX -n
-L register.txt
..I saw there that the complete product information was missing. So the
question was, why suseregister doesn't found the product informations...
A look into /usr/bin/suse_register showed me, that it was trying to get the
productionformations with:
/usr/lib64/zmd/query-pool products @system
Since the return was undef/empty, I straced the process and compared it with
another (working) setup. I then found that this file was missing:
/var/lib/zypp/db/products/ea3d8a03052cdd96a4c37303da01cbbf
After this I was able to register the product (and getting the needed install
source for updates).
The "only" question I still have is: What caused the problem?
Well, I guess you'd likt to close this bugreport with "wont fix".
