In this particular case the actual problem is that later rules falsely override default rules (because those later rules are not "for special cases").
I could try to achieve better settings also by an additional udev rule file, couldn't I? Further ideas: * Have you been looking for solutions around similar system configuration challenges already? * Do we need the combination of the device access permissions from the groups "lp" and "plugdev" in the discussed use case? * Which is the recommended way to extend access control lists by udev interfaces so that functionality like "printing", "picture scanning" and "Android software development/debugging" can be used together?
