I found no way to communicate with HP's printing division. They do not even
allow to contact the support when warranty is over.
I talked to a friend though who is working for another HP division and he told
me that every HP printer he knows himself cancels storage card access when the
printer or scanner unit is active. That means any "mounted" drive disappears
also from Windows and gets rescanned when printer/scanner is idle again.
