https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710639 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=710639#c0 Summary: Two NFS shares on one server: mounting the second points to first share Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Network AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: P.rehme@physik.uni-stuttgart.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:6.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/6.0 Server: /etc/exports: /raid1/data1 client1(...) /raid1/data2 client1(...) Client: mount server1:/raid1/data1 /raid1/data1 mount server1:/raid1/data2 /raid1/data2 The /raid1/data1 AND the /raid1/data2 directory is a link to server1:/raid1/data1. Trying only to mount .../data2 will also point to ./data1. I can not access the server1:/raid1/data2 directory from the client. Checked this on 2 different clients. The exported directories have no links in it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. server1: /etc/exports: /raid1/data1 client1(fsid=0,rw,no_root_squash,sync,no_subtree_check) /raid1/data2 client1(fsid=0,rw,no_root_squash,sync,no_subtree_check) 2. rcnfsserver restart 3. client1: mount server1:/raid1/data1 /raid1/data1 mount server1:/raid1/data2 /raid1/data2 Actual Results: On client1:
ls /raid1/data1 /raid1/data1/file1 /raid1/data1/file2 ... ls /raid1/data2 /raid1/data1/file1 /raid1/data1/file2 ...
Expected Results: On client1:
ls /raid1/data1 /raid1/data1/file1 /raid1/data1/file2 ... ls /raid1/data2 /raid1/data2/file1 /raid1/data2/file2 ...
