It's anoying if you need to fiddle with different settings to get your machine functioning correctly. I suggest to set the module to "unsupported" for SLE11 and not load it explicitly anymore there (this is what you want, to get rid of the Enterprise support for this, right?). Nobody pays more money for the OS than the machine, so there is no need for support on SLE11.
