VertRefresh 44-160
Xorg.0.log:
(II) RADEON(0): Monitor[0]: Using vrefresh range of 44.00-160.00 Hz (--) RADEON(0): Virtual size is 1280x1024 (pitch 1280) (**) RADEON(0): *Mode "1280x1024": 77.6 MHz, 46.2 kHz, 44.0 Hz (II) RADEON(0): Modeline "1280x1024"x44.0 77.62 1280 1344 1480 1680 1024 1025 1028 1050 (46.2 kHz)
==> 44Hz is the problem here. What the monitor probes (160Hz) is bogus. So the monitor detection is wrong here. It should detect 30-70 kHz (horizontal) 50-160 Hz (vertical) instead of HorizSync 30-70 VertRefresh 44-160 The easiest way to fix this would be add an entry to our monitor database, but we already have one. But why is it not used? #============================================== # XF-70 #---------------------------------------------- KDS:XF-70 { DDC=STC0777 Hsync=30-70 Vsync=50-160 } I'm sorry, that I need to reassign this one back to you, Marcus. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
