https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=394797 Summary: Installation hangs on "Prepare system for intial boot" step Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 3 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bgmerrell@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: Integration Test On a manual network installation on x86_64 hardware with i386 media: After going through the "preparation" and "installation" categories of the installation, and just after the packages finish installing, some configuration is done and then the system should be automatically rebooted. A window appears with the message "The system will reboot now...\n\n10" As soon as that window appears the install hangs/freezes/becomes unresponsive. I am able to reproduce this apparently every time (4 out of 4 tries so far) on a Dell Optiplex 755 machine. I'm sure logs will be required to investigate this further, please let me know what is needed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
