--- Comment #47 from Johannes Meixner ---
Regarding comment#44:
Regarding item 2. in my comment#41 (security)
the current (here only for Kyocera as an example)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0482", TAG+="uaccess"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
is better than it was before (cf. comment#36)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTR{idVendor}=="0482", MODE="0660", GROUP="users"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
But it is still the same problem regarding
item 1. in my comment#41 (conflicting with rule for printing).
Furthermore regarding security I don't know if TAG+="uaccess"
unconditionally for all USB devices of those vendors
is sufficiently secure (perhaps for USB harddrives or
USB keyboards of those vendors TAG+="uaccess" is not o.k)?
I think the real solution would be more specific conditions
in 51-android.rules so that those rules only apply for the
specific devices for what android-tools is meant to be used.
