https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=342467 Summary: installation of java-1_5_0-sun update package breaks symlink /usr/lib64/jvm-exports/java Product: SUSE Linux 10.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Linux 10.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Java AssignedTo: bnc-team-java@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: ken@turnkey.com.au QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer The symlink /usr/lib64/jvm-exports/java normally points to ./java-1.5.0. This needed for access to various jars by applications such as Tomcat. After the installation of the update to java-1_5_0 on 15th November, the symlink was removed and Tomcat would not run. Remaking the symlink by hand fixed it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
