From my (uninformed) point of view:
I guess in most use cases the reason for using nspluginwrapper with Konqueror is simply running the 32bit flash-plugin in a 64bit environment. (OK, some people might also run the AdobeReader plugin, but for PDFs there are also native solutions available.) I must admit that I can't remember any more when I was last able to use the nspluginwrapper/flash solution. Must be over a year ago. I was always happy when flash plugins did just freeze the computer for a minute and not take Konqui down as a whole. So this dependancy always more a problem than a solution for me. The alpha version of the 64bit flash plugin already runs better than the nspluginwrapper-solution did at any time. So shouldn't the dependancy not rather be the other way round - installing 32bit plugins on 64bit systems pulls in nspluginwrapper, not installing a 64bit browser automatically pulls in 32bit support with its additional 32bit dependancies? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
