This is getting too abstract in my opinion. The question here is not what an
audit says or whether there should even be one, but: are "user" and "users"
valid options for nfs mounts in fstab? If not (meaning: lets throw these
options away after years of usage) then fine. If yes, let's think about it, how
these two options are going to be implemented differently in the future for
"better" security. If we really need "better" security. There will always be a
tradeoff between functionality and security. Clearly a non-functioning system
(= NO functionality) is utterly secure.
