A workaround already exists (I'm thinking about writing an article ;) ),
* boot the system you want to upgrade
* run `yast2 disk`
* change mountpoints not to use device names (/dev/hda) but LABEL or
device ID, or anything else (but not device name)
* reboot to the installation
Does it work?
Well, maybe changing the mountpoints (/etc/fstab) doesn't work when those
devices are already mounted :( but anyway, changing /etc/fstab directly on a
system could work.
