https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=798283 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=798283#c0 Summary: Sounds unusable after suspend cycle Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Factory Version: 12.3 Milestone 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: dimstar@opensuse.org QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Recently, whenever I suspend my system and wake it up again, sound is completely unusable.. It is noticeable in videos on websites (e.g. youtube), local videos in totem, and also any music player (eg. banshee). The 'quickest' way to recover is: rmmod -f snd_hda_intel modprobe snd_hda_intel which indicates (to my understanding) that the module initialization on resume is sort of 'broken'. uname -a: Linux laran.leuenberger.net 3.7.1-1-default #1 SMP Tue Dec 18 15:39:47 UTC 2012 (756a7d4) x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
