https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=371138 Summary: Xgl crashes on intel driver when OpenGL application is run Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Alpha 2plus Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Xgl AssignedTo: dreveman@novell.com ReportedBy: mhopf@novell.com QAContact: bperry@novell.com Found By: --- When testing compiz on the intel driver I just found out that running an OpenGL application on top of Xgl crashes Xgl, due to ctx->DrawBuffer being zero e.g. in xmesa_update_state(). Typically, it's always something like if (ctx->DrawBuffer->Name != 0) Note that in some cases (only a single OpenGL application and nothing else) this doesn't happen, but as soon as compiz and a decoration manager is running, this is triggered e.g. by glxgears, before it even draws its first frame. This is new, and we probably still want to use Xgl on intel, with AIGLX xvideo is unbearably slow, and OpenGL windows are not redirected. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
