rpm -q findutils
findutils-4.4.2-11.1.x86_64
rpm -q findutils-locate
findutils-locate-4.4.2-11.1.x86_64
I don't use the default. It is not default but allowed to use nfs-shares.
It is my intention to have one index of all local and nfs mounted directories.
With former versions of opensuse it worked.
I don't know how to debug, because there are no error messages and I do not
understand how the combination of updatedb scripts and find is running.
The only thing I see: the old locatedb-file has had a size of 800MB the new one
is only 80MB and locate does not find expected things.
And while running updatedb find eats a lot of memory.
Regards,
Thomas Schäfer
