Which Live CD version have you used? KDE or Gnome? I Test: my System on HDD openSuse 11.2 now RC1.(GNOME) - resource name display incorrect LiveCD GNOME openSuse 11.1 Release - resource name display correct (screen shot 1) LiveCD GNOME openSUSE 11.2 M8 - resource name display incorrect (screen shot 2)
I going test with LiveCD KDE. (In reply to comment #18)
I get the same result if I use GDM to start the gnome session.
"same result" its is correct or incorrect?
And it is independent if I use Microsoft XP or Samba as file server.
But as soon as I use the share name "Müll" I get an incorrect formated output of smbclient -L <server_name> which I'll attach next. One character is missing from the output to align it correctly.
As soon as I use "mʏll" as share name in /etc/samba/smb,conf the output of smbclient -L is worse. It gets damaged right at the "ʏ" char.
@Andrey: Could you please attach the working share names or better the "smbclient -L <serber_name>" output from your openSUSE 11.1 system?
Sorry, but I not understand what need? May be Attachment "Screen shot 1"? It is correct display of resource name and descriptions. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
