This is true for the first restart, as well as for all starts from installation dvd or USB stick. This is true for Sony Vaio Ultrabook SVP132 series. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Workaround: Linux can be started by selecting "install" and continue installation until language and keyboard are to be selected. Abort installation at this stage, which returns you to a text console. In a later window you are offered "boot installed system". You have to guess the root partition.
