It still does correctly show up at boot-up, but I get only text on a black screen during shut-down. This used to work fine earlier, both at startup and at shutdown. I should not probably guess, but this problem started roughly from the time the following change happened (I am almost sure everything worked fine with plymouth version 0.8.5.1):- ------------------------------------------------------------------- Mon Jul 2 11:19:04 UTC 2012 - fcrozat@suse.com - Provides systemd units, instead of relying on systemd to ship them (bnc#769397). - Ensure plymouth--wait-quit.service conflicts with graphical.target.
