For remote administration, Hetzner provides a browser/java-based KVM access - on the hardware side this is a "LARA eco" (ask google for details if needed). This worked without problems up to openSUSE 11.0, and a friend just verified that it still works on 11.0. Regarding testing possible bugfixes: I only get access to a LARA on request for a limited time. This means: I can test something, but it shouldn't be too often (Hetzner might wonder if I need a LARA every second day ;-) and maybe it's a good idea to meet in IRC while testing so that I have direct feedback and can do multiple tests in a session.
