Pavol, Matt what do you think?
We are separating the main ogre library from the plugins in two packages (that
isn't a bad idea, but perhaps RenderSystem_GL at least should be keep in the
main package).
Note that neither Fedora, Packman nor Debian do this split. They keep all the
plugins (but Cg) in the main package.
Options:
- Merge libogre1_6 and libogre1_6-plugins
- Make (all?) games Require libogre1_6-plugins. This would break compatibility
with the Packman.
- Make games require the specific plugins they need:
- The problem is that libogre1_6-plugins only provides things like
"RenderSystem_GL.so()(64bit)" that change between 64 and 32 bits. I could do
some "rpm -q --provides" in the spec file to solve the 32/64 bits problem, but
seems a hack.
- Use "AutoProv: no" so libogre1_6-plugins doesn't provides these little
useful provides and manually add arch independent ones as "RenderSystem_GL" or
"Plugin_ParticleFX". This would also break compatibility with Packman.
