Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Factory Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: kernel-maintainers@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: cobexer@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=426313) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=426313) kernel logs discovered while the network driver blocked User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:2.0.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0 clean boot of the system. used the net for a while (WLAN), then suddenly network requests failed with "Network unreachable" with some debugging i discovered that NetworkManager was in state D, and attempts to restart it or the network failed. trying to figure out how to produce a good bugreport, at some point the system started to working normally again. logs attached. additionally after resume i get: rt73usb 1-7:1.0: no reset_resume for driver rt73usb? Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: use the wlan, sometimes happens after resumes, sometimes when wlans drop / new ones appear. also reloading the rt73usb driver after resumes sometimes blocks, however i never waited 1.5h so no idea if it would stop blocking after that too. Actual Results: network driver blocked. took NetworkManager, ifconfig with it Expected Results: there was no reason to drop the network connection IMHO.
