The next udev version will move its private database to that place and needs to make sure, that mkinitrd has provided that mount point to preserve the udev database from initrd to the real system, instead of systemd mounting it over. Please add: mkdir /dev/.run mount -t tmpfs -o mode=0755 tmpfs /dev/.run and bump the mkinitrd version number so that udev can conflict with older versions.
