https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=383173 Summary: PackageKit: Notifications should say where they originated from Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Factory Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: captain.magnus@opensuse.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- When PK goes out to check for updates it sometimes fails due to network issues (can be seen often when coming back from suspend). It then throws up a notification saying that it failed, but the notification must also say who throw it. Users will be left scratching their heads as to which app actually did it. Another way to solve it (perhaps preferred way?) would be to always show the applet in the panel. That way notifications will popup where the applet is. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
