On your box, inotify seems to return pretty strange things:

The watch descriptor seems way too large, we add only 3 watches on daemon init,
and never touch them again. Does the "35" change with the iterations?
Also writable-file-closed event for the file "null" seems pretty strange. At
the moment this happens, do you happen to see a file "null" in:
/etc/udev/rules.d/
/lib/udev/rules.d/
/dev/.udev/rules.d/
?
