/dev/usb/lp0
If this doesn't work it is a low-level USB problem. Perhaps the kernel module "usblp" is not loaded? Perhaps /dev/usb/lp0 doesn't exist? Perhaps "usblp" was removed for this device? See "dmesg | grep -i usb" for the kernel-related usb messages. If the above tests do print, the problem is somewhere in the printing system. Check if the queue is enabled "lpstat -p <queue-name>" and if it is disabled, do "cupsenable <queue-name>". If printing is still not possible, provide debugging info as follwos: 1: Set the "LogLevel debug" in /etc/cups/cupsd.conf. 2: Stop cupsd. 3: Move /var/log/cups/error_log* to another location (or delete it) in order to avoid having to search through gigantic log files. 4: Start cupsd. 5: Try to print exactly one document. 6: cp /var/log/cups/error_log /tmp/error_log Provide /etc/cups/* and /tmp/error_log as attachments to this bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
