http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=578877 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=578877#c0 Summary: jvisualvm not present in PATH Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: All OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Java AssignedTo: bnc-team-java@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: robert.munteanu@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.0) Gecko/20100115 SUSE/3.6.0-1.2 Firefox/3.6 The VisualVM binary is not present in the PATH variable, most likely because it's not being made available using the /etc/alternatives mechanism. Since developer tools like JConsole ( which VisualVM more or less supercedes ) are present on the path, it would be good for jvisualvm to be present as well.
