The newes kernel update is broken again. Not only did it reenter the root id
mentioned in the description, but it also broke the file /boot/grub/device.map
which I had to correct already last time.
Again: This box has _5_ harddisks, the system disk with grub is on /dev/sde,
which is 0x80 on the bios side. This means, my device map should look like
this:
(hd0) /dev/sde
(hd1) /dev/sda
(hd3) /dev/sdc
(hd2) /dev/sdb
(hd4) /dev/sdd
I do not mind if a kernel update just mixes lines or the like, but hd0
definitly must be /dev/sde. Instead it created the following device map, where
/dev/sde is completely missing:
(hd0) /dev/sdd
(hd1) /dev/sda
(hd3) /dev/sdc
(hd2) /dev/sdb
attaching yast logfiles.
