https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=386553 Summary: Missing window features Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Beta 2 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: martind2000@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Beta-Customer After installation, when the Gnome desktop is presented, windows do not appear to have borders or title bars. When a window opens, it appears, it can not be dragged and the only way to close it is to right click on it in the panel ( that is if it appears in the panel ) and select close. The only way around this is to go into Desktop Effects and turn it off. Doing so brings back the normal window furniture. Although when this happens and the machine is rebooted, it goes back to the same state, Desktop Effects does not save the fact that it is turned off. I am using an ATI graphics card with 3d acceleration turned on and have done nothing else but a straight install. This problem occurs on both the DVD install and the Live CD. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
