That computer is also a samba server for the home network, so I don't want to
reboot too often today. I'll check again tomorrow, when I'm the only one home.
I did try repeating this on a different computer (non-UEFI) where I also have
13.1Beta installed, with 12.3 in an encrypted lvm.
# vgscan
that does not give any output.
# vgchange -a y
that reports that no mountable devices (flash memory) are available
However:
# ls /dev/mapper
shows that the LVM is now accessible. It seems that "vgscan" and "vgchange"
have
gone all silent on me, but are still silently doing their thing.
I'll probably still report that as a bug. It does not make sense for "vgscan"
to be silent.
