I normally set shutdown not to ask for confirmation - so when I click reboot or run reboot from console everything closes down without further inptu. When I load Nvidia driver 195.36.24 system always shows window asking to abort active session with the info "xxxx(my username) tty1" as though there was a second session running. I am using same nvidia driver in 11.2 without this problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.load proprietary Nvidia graphics driver 195.36.24 2.click reboot or shutdown computer or 3.console "/sbin/shutdown -x xxx" Actual Results: gui closes black console screen appears but instead of continuing with close a small window appears with request for further confirmation.
