OK, did the tests. Had to downgrade xorg-x11-driver-video package to openSUSE
original (version 7.6-52.4.x86_64).
Result was the following:
- Booting with default options (vga=0x31a) and no xorg.conf -
-> Hang at start-up;
- Booting without vga=0x31a and no xorg.conf-
-> it loads the whole system, resolution is low (1024x768),
corruption on terminal clients, KDE Control Center/Monitor adjustments
makes
the whole screen flicker;
As I said, you probably needs to upgrade the xf86-video-intel-driver. The
problems are less severe (corruption and instability), but they are still here.
Will update xorg-x11-driver-video package and will post soon.
