https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852861 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=852861#c0 Summary: Sound plays on speakers only when plugging out headphones in the middle of the song. Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 13.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 13.1 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@suse.com ReportedBy: latinovic87@gmail.com QAContact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.11 Safari/537.36 SUSE/31.0.1650.11 It's a tricky summary, didn't actually know how to phrase this problem. Basically, the sound on speakers doesn't play when pressing play on media players (tried it with Rhythmbox and Clementine) on Gnome version. It starts to play on speakers only if i press play while having headphones plugged in, and then plugging them out when the song is already playing. If i first plug out the headphones, and then press play, the sound won't play on speakers. The indicator shows full volume, and the little icon properly shows speakers, not headphones. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Plug out headphones. 2.Press play on media player (Rhythmbox and Clementine tried out) 3.No sound in speakers, even though the indicator shows full volume. Actual Results: No sound until i plug in and plug out headphones. Expected Results: It should be playing music when pressing play. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
