These messages are printed even though systemd-udevd has been started already, apparently during coldplug. lvm (here probably: pvscan) should stay away from devices that aren't fully initialized yet. Trying to Be optimistic, I guess that these messages mean just that. Can you share your block device setup after boot (lsblk)? Do you see any other issues?
