Strange. These messages are printed even though systemd-udevd has been started
already, apparently during coldplug. lvm (here probably: pvscan) should stay
away from devices that aren't fully initialized yet.

Trying to Be optimistic, I guess that these messages mean just that. 

Can you share your block device setup after boot (lsblk)?

Do you see any other issues? Are the block devices and in particular LVM
PVs/LVs correctly set up after boot?
