https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=269770 Summary: Add time server synchronization to yast2 timezone Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 3 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: casualprogrammer@yahoo.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com I suggest adding synchronization with a time server to yast2 timezone, similar to the feature Windows XP has. This could use the NTP service or else make use of rdate and synchronize on boot ( on network available after a boot ) and a reasonable time interval when up. This would be especially appreciated on dual ( or multi ) boot systems, where usually the time gets incorrect after booting to another OS. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
