http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1187651 Bug ID: 1187651 Summary: BTRFS setup leads to unbootable system Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: S/390-64 OS: openSUSE Tumbleweed Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Bootloader Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: azouhr@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de CC: ada.lovelace@gmx.de, rw@suse.com Found By: Community User Blocker: --- When using the default installation proposal for s390x, btrfs is selected. However, when rebooting, one can only see zipl trying to load grub2, which is never loaded in turn. It looks like the first initrd is not able to load the data needed for grub2 from the filesystem. Unfortunately, I do not have an easy way to provide logs, having a completely detached setup without internet access. However, this should be easy to reproduce (always failing the default installation). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
