THE PROBLEM: When I try to switch user the machine gets completely frozen. I can just press the power button. I tested switching from root's session to a new one, without locking the root's session. RELATED: I had similar problems also with openSUSE 11.0 although in that case the machine did not became completely frozen, only did now allow to switch bacj to the first session. Thanks.
