Therefore if the kernel manage the disk nothing happens. I'd like to
know if setting
HALT_DISKS="no"
whithin /etc/sysconfig/shutdown does help. This setting avoids that the
final halt(8) command is caleld with the -h option for spinning doen the
hard disks. That means if the error ocurrs even without halting hard disks
by the final halt(8) command, the bug is within the kernel and not in
halt(8)/shutdown(8)
