https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=222861 Summary: epiphany doesn't look at /usr/lib/browser-plugins Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Beta 2 plus Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: wolfgang@rosenauer.org Epiphany does not find any plugins that were installed into /usr/lib/browser-plugins. I'm unsure whether epiphany or xulrunner is to blame. xulrunner (both versions) are not patched for /usr/lib/browser-plugins - but epiphany isn't either. I tend to blame epiphany because an strace shows that it looks at the following directories: /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins /usr/lib/xulrunner-1.8.1b2/plugins /opt/gnome/lib/epiphany/2.16/plugins $HOME/.mozilla/plugins /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins is plain wrong on SUSE Linux and clearly comes from epiphany - it's hardcoded into the epiphany binary. IMHO this should be replaced by /usr/lib/browser-plugins. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
