https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223744 Summary: Device already mounted - no device access Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: hugo.costelha@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Hi, I booted my openSUSE 10.2 and my USB disk was already connected to it. Up on entering KDE I opened Konqueror, clicked in "Storage Media", and clicked om my device ("system:/media/sdb2"), and I got a message saying "Device already mounted", and it did not show any files. If I go to "/media/disk", which is the (other) link associated with the device, I can access the files with no problem. Removing and inserting the device again works with no problems. Resuming, there is a problem if the external device is already connected to the computer during boot. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
