Seems to be affecting Ubuntu 8.10 users too. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/289581 I think this means I have figured out why my laptop dies if I leave it idle long enough. (Overnight) To make matters worse here, the hard drive activity has spiked.
