After a hard lockup, system again did not boot up fully.
Trying to log in via text console as root actually succeeded after some long
timeout (1 minute?).
It seems like systemd hangs, not answering on the socket (systemctl --anything
does nothing, just hangs after connecting to the socket).
It also does not reap zombies, so it smells like some deadlock inside systemd.
After two tries, I reinstalled -1.1 package because I urgently needed to get
the machine working again. The systemctl --reexec-daemon in the postinst also
hung and had to be killed before rebooting via SysRQ.
How to debug this? Would a crashdump help? Or a core of systemd? But how do i
get that?
