To clarify, self-obsoletes are when the obsolete matches the provides.
For example:
Provides: foo = 1.0 Obsoletes: foo <= 1.0
That's in contrast to normal ones like so:
Provides: foo = 1.0 Obsoletes: foo < 1.0
