It seems that the new ati driver breaks suspend2ram.
No, not in general. We have given the driver a test on many machines and only one broke with regard to STR. That system was a IBM ThinkPad T43 (ATI Mobility Radeon X300).
While suspend2ram worked fine with 8.29.6 and xorg 7.1, my system now hangs after a resume with 8.32.5 and xorg 7.2. Should I open a new bug for this?
If STR works without having fglrx loaded you should not file a bug against OS10.2 as we are not supporting binary only modules. Understandably enough the Kernel guys will most likely refuse to debug the issue. To get help you are better off filing a bug in the ATI Linux Platform bugzilla (http://ati.cchtml.com/). Please feel free to add a reference in this bug to help others who run into the same issue. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
